A 40-year-old man was rescued on Doctor Fleming street, in the municipality of Arucas, Gran Canaria, after falling down a ravine. The cyclist sustained moderate injuries and was transported by a sanitary ambulance to the Doctor Negrín University Hospital. The Emergency and Safety Coordination Center (Cecoes) 112 received the alert and activated the necessary emergency resources, including personnel from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) who assessed, assisted, and immobilized the affected individual.
In Tenerife, a 17-year-old minor had to be evacuated by a helicopter from the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) after falling several meters onto a rocky area on the coast of Punta de la Centinela, in Icod de los Vinos. Firefighters provided initial care to the youth, but due to the impossibility of a safe ground rescue, aerial support was requested. The minor was hoisted into the helicopter and transported to the helipad in La Guancha, from where they were attended by SUC and taken to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
