Two Suspects Arrested in Tafira Alta Supermarket Robbery

The National Police have apprehended two of the three alleged perpetrators of the assault that took place in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, with the search for the third ongoing.

The National Police have arrested two of the three alleged individuals involved in the violent robbery of a supermarket in Tafira Alta, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, which occurred last Tuesday, and the investigation remains open to locate the third assailant.

The incident took place around 6:30 PM, when several masked individuals, armed with large machetes, stormed the establishment. The assailants intimidated the employees and managed to take the cash from the registers before fleeing the scene.
Following the robbery, National Police investigators began inquiries to identify those involved in the heist. The efforts led to the arrest of two of the alleged perpetrators, while the operation remains active to find the third robber, whose whereabouts are still unknown.
The investigation is ongoing with the aim of fully clarifying the facts and bringing all those responsible for this violent assault in Tafira Alta to justice.
