The Local Police of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Firefighters responded this Sunday after a palm tree crown fell in the Schamann neighborhood, an event caused by intense wind gusts affecting the capital.

The incident occurred on Antón Caballero street, located in the Ciudad Alta area, on a day marked by adverse weather conditions with high-intensity winds.
Local Police officers were the first to respond to the emergency, as reported through their official channels. Subsequently, Las Palmas Firefighters joined, taking charge of removing the palm tree crown and ensuring the safety of the affected area.
As a result of the collapse, some damage to nearby wiring was reported, although no injuries have been recorded.
