Telde's rhythmic gymnastics teams showcased their competitive level at the Canary Islands Base Championship for Teams and the III Phase of the Spanish Cup, held in Santa Lucía de Tirajana. The event brought together numerous clubs from the islands, featuring Telde's own Attenya, Izel, and Adira ensembles, who achieved notable results across various categories.
The Attenya club particularly shone in the base category, securing two runner-up positions in the Canary Islands Championship for their benjamin and infantil teams. Additionally, they achieved three third-place finishes in the alevín, cadete, and juvenil categories. In the absolute category, their junior ensemble also claimed third place in the Canary Islands.
Meanwhile, the Adira club's juvenil team finished in fifth place, and Izel completed Telde's participation with a third-place finish in the prebenjamín category.
The Telde City Council, through its Department of Physical Activity and Sports, congratulated the Attenya, Izel, and Adira clubs, along with their gymnasts, technical staff, and families. Councilor Cristhian Santana Caballero stated, 'These results are a source of satisfaction for Telde and reflect the effort, consistency, and dedication of the gymnasts, their coaches, and the clubs.' He wished the teams good luck for their upcoming national challenge in Cartagena, adding that 'their work helps to raise the profile of rhythmic gymnastics and the sport developed in our city'.
