The investigation began after a constant flow of people was detected near a residence in the aforementioned capital neighborhood. Buyers would go to the home with cash and leave after allegedly acquiring doses of cocaine. With the necessary evidence and judicial authorization, agents proceeded to enter and search the property.
During the intervention, National Police officers arrested the main suspect and their partner. The search yielded 250 grams of cocaine, 73 grams of cutting agent, 49 grams of hashish, and various amounts of cash. After being brought before the competent judicial authority, one of the arrested individuals was ordered to be imprisoned.
The most shocking aspect of the operation was the state in which the couple's two daughters were found.
Agents confirmed that the home suffered from a massive accumulation of waste and a clear infestation of cockroaches and other pests. Given the imminent risk to the health and safety of the young girls, aged just 3 and 6 years old, immediate notification was sent to the Minors' Prosecutor's Office of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The minors were rescued from the home and placed under the protection and care of the General Directorate for Minors and Family of the Government of Canarias, which has already mobilized the necessary assistance resources for their well-being.
