The initiative will allow participants to acquire practical digitalization skills and gain direct experience working with companies in Fuerteventura. The program will run between September 21 and November 20, selecting ten people from each of the island's three zones: north, center, and south.
The Minister of New Technologies, Carmen Alonso Saavedra, highlighted that the program “allows us to combine training and real experience, giving participants tools they can directly apply in companies on the Island”. She added that the goal is to “continue bringing digital skills closer to Fuerteventura and generate new training and employment opportunities”.
Participants will work using a practical learning methodology ('learning by doing'), collaborating with a minimum of five real companies. Their tasks will include diagnosing digital maturity, identifying improvement opportunities, designing individualized digitalization plans, and implementing technological solutions tailored to each business's needs.
This initiative combines training with practical experience in business digitalization, an area of high professional demand. The training model is flexible, results-oriented, and promotes continuous learning to facilitate the digital transformation of the island's companies.
