Officers from the National Police, in collaboration with the Local Police, have dismantled an active drug dealing point on the central Imeldo Serís Street in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, leading to the arrest of three individuals.

The investigation, part of an anti-drug operation, revealed the existence of an establishment on the aforementioned street, known for its high tourist traffic in the capital of Tenerife. This venue, under the guise of a private association, was allegedly involved in the sale of marijuana and hashish.
Following numerous surveillance operations conducted by both the National Police and the Local Police, investigators confirmed that a large number of individuals, including many foreigners, frequented the establishment throughout the day to purchase illicit substances.
With the pertinent judicial authorization, a raid was carried out on the premises, with the collaboration of the K9 canine unit from the Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The operation culminated in the arrest of three people for an alleged crime of drug trafficking.
During the search, 485 euros in cash and various quantities of narcotics were seized, including 2817 grams of marijuana, 407 grams of hashish, and 287 pre-rolled joints. The detainees have been placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority, thus dismantling this sales point in the center of Santa Cruz.
The National Police reiterates its commitment to the fight against organized crime and encourages citizens to cooperate by reporting any indications or suspicions of activities related to drug trafficking via the email address antidroga@policia.es.
