Two men were affected, one critically, after a fire broke out in a home on El Sorondongo street in El Sobradillo, Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

A fire that broke out in a home on El Sorondongo street, in the El Sobradillo neighborhood of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, prompted the response of emergency services. The incident occurred around 8:14 PM this Monday.
Tenerife firefighters attended the scene, rescuing two occupants from the residence. After extinguishing the flames, they proceeded to ventilate the property.
Personnel from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) treated the injured. One man suffered burns and smoke inhalation and was transported in critical condition by a medicalized ambulance to the University Hospital Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria.
The second affected individual, who had moderate smoke inhalation and burns, was taken to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands by another ambulance.
Officers from the Local Police collaborated at the scene, while the National Police conducted the corresponding investigations.
