For her part, the CEO of the Development Society, Carmen Pérez, noted that the healthcare and social care sector concentrates a significant portion of the job opportunities. She detailed that there are ten vacancies for home care support staff, five for assistants, eight live-in caregivers (three for weekends), four external caregivers, one geriatric caregiver, and four physiotherapists for home care.
Pérez also mentioned the demand for qualified professionals in technical and industrial fields, including seven cleaning staff positions, two drivers for laundry services with a C permit, one industrial maintenance technician, one appliance repair specialist, six electrical installers, one refrigeration technician, one diesel mechanic, and one support technician for workshops. Additionally, an offer is being managed specifically for individuals with a disability certificate, seeking ten laundry operator vacancies.
In other sectors, the Employment Agency is seeking profiles such as construction laborers, automotive sales advisors, a commercial representative for the freight and maritime sector, and a local development technician specializing in tourism. Other positions include a technical architect, three butane gas drivers and delivery personnel (two in the north and one in the south), cleaning staff for an educational center, a temporary operator for the San Sebastián de La Gomera Terminal, and a social projects technician.
In administration and finance, there are vacancies for an accounting administrator, a strategic Human Resources partner, a receptionist, and an accounting and tax technician.
