The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council has announced the opening of the submission period for the public competition for the 2027 Carnival poster, which will be themed Eternal Rome: The Empire of Carnival.

The call aims to foster local talent to represent the city's international festival. Mayor José Manuel Bermúdez highlighted the quality of works submitted in previous editions, which originated from this same contest.
The selection process will unfold in three phases. The first, running from June 29 to July 29, will be dedicated to the submission of posters by participants. The full terms and conditions are available at carnavaldetenerife.com, and documentation must be submitted electronically via the electronic headquarters.
Subsequently, an evaluation committee will select the five finalist proposals. The authors of these selections will have 30 calendar days to develop the complete graphic image for the 2027 Carnival, based on their initial poster submission.
The final phase, lasting 7 days, will allow the general public to vote for their favorite project. The main prize for the winning poster amounts to 12,000 euros, while the finalist proposals will each receive 1,000 euros.
