The Tegueste City Council has finalized the replacement of ten light poles at various points along the TF-13 road. This intervention has successfully restored a total of 19 lighting points that had been rendered inoperable due to damage caused by traffic accidents.
The project, authorized by the Roads Department of the Cabildo of Tenerife, involved the installation of nine double and one single lamppost. The work was carried out during the early mornings of September 14th and 15th, aiming to minimize disruptions to traffic and inconvenience to residents.
“"The completion of this work means restoring lighting at different points on the TF-13 that had been left without service. It was a necessary action that we were able to carry out thanks to coordinated work with the Cabildo of Tenerife and obtaining the corresponding permits."
The Mayor of Tegueste, Norberto Padilla, highlighted that the action was necessary and was made possible through coordination with the Cabildo of Tenerife. He added that the City Council continues to work on maintaining roads and public spaces, and that restoring these lighting points helps improve visibility and safety on a road with significant traffic volume.

He noted that the work was scheduled for nighttime hours to minimize traffic disruptions and ensure the operation was carried out as safely and efficiently as possible, addressing a maintenance need.
The Tegueste City Council expresses its gratitude for the collaboration of the Cabildo of Tenerife, through its Roads Department, which enabled this project on a road not under municipal ownership. With the completion of these works, the Council continues to advance in the maintenance and improvement of public services and the restoration of necessary lighting elements to promote better visibility and safety on the municipality's roads.
