The events occurred in May 2025, when officers intervened at the establishment, finding two scales, 11.5 grams of cocaine with 82% purity, nine pills with effects similar to Viagra, 265 grams of cutting agent, six grams of hashish, and pre-cut bags.
The Provincial Court imposed a sentence of three years and two months in prison and a fine of 500 euros. The defendant's drug addiction was considered a mitigating factor, despite the seized substances having a value of over 700 euros.
Police officers, after receiving information about drug sales at the premises, searched the bar and found the substances in a small interior kitchen. The accused attempted to dispose of the evidence upon noticing the police presence.
The Court found the drug dealing proven, as the substances were discovered in a public establishment and the seized items were related to trafficking, even though the amount of cocaine did not exceed that permitted for personal consumption.
The defendant's defense questioned the failure to provide security camera footage, while the prosecution announced legal action for false testimony against two witnesses who testified in favor of the accused, offering contradictory versions of their presence at the bar.
The accused claimed that some of the substance was for personal use and that his addiction since the age of 18 justified the quantity found, requesting acquittal or the application of the addiction mitigating factor.
