The incident occurred around 7:45 AM when a car collided with a tram unit. As a result of the impact, the car's driver sustained minor injuries.

The incident affected the operation of the Tranvía de Tenerife, which reported delays on Line 1 while the situation was managed. The collision temporarily altered the usual service frequency, causing delays for passengers during peak hours.

Following the removal of the obstruction and the restoration of traffic flow in the affected area, the tram service began to gradually resume. The company thanked passengers for their understanding regarding the delays caused by the collision.
