The Ministry of Public Works, Housing, and Mobility of the Government of the Canary Islands has initiated the process for beneficiaries of the 2025 Young Rental Voucher to submit rent payment supporting documents.

The Ministry of Public Works, Housing, and Mobility of the Government of the Canary Islands, through the Canarian Housing Institute (ICAVI), has published the requirements for beneficiaries of the 2025 Young Rental Voucher to submit the supporting documentation for rent payments corresponding to the expired months included in the subsidized period.
These requirements, published on the electronic headquarters of the Government of the Canary Islands, are structured into two distinct resolutions: one for beneficiaries of the general sub-line and another specific to the island of Lanzarote.
The 2025 Young Rental Voucher is a subsidy aimed at facilitating housing access for young people between 18 and 35 years old, offering up to 250 euros per month for a maximum of 24 months.
Beneficiaries have a period of 15 business days to provide rent receipts or proof of use cession for the expired subsidized months. Failure to submit within this timeframe may result in the loss of the right to payment for the affected months.
Furthermore, for cases with issues preventing payment processing, a 10-business-day hearing period is granted for submitting allegations and necessary documentation to rectify or regularize the situation.
The deadline for submitting supporting documents will remain open until July 7, 2026, while the deadline for filing allegations will end on June 30, 2026.
