Starting July 7, coinciding with the opening of the application period for the 2026-2027 academic year, students who have applied in previous years will receive SMS and email notifications. This will allow them to access a pre-filled application, significantly reducing the administrative burden.
The Department of Universities, Science, Innovation and Culture has clarified that this feature is exclusively for students who have applied in previous cycles. First-time applicants, including those in higher artistic studies, must follow the standard application procedure.

The application period will remain open for one month. The call, published in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands on July 6, can be processed through the Government of the Canary Islands electronic office.
