The Symphony Hall of the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium will be the stage on June 13, starting at 7:30 PM, for the Cruz Roja Golden Gala. This solidarity event aims to support the organization's humanitarian work in the province, focusing on assisting vulnerable individuals.
The gala will feature performances by nine Canarian artists. Among them is singer-songwriter Gara Alemán, who emphasized the event's importance for "supporting people who truly need help" and enjoying "a magical night." The lineup also includes comedians Kike Pérez, Darío López, and Yanely Hernández, magician Raúl Magic, Canarian folklore artists Domingo El Colorao and Ayla Rodríguez, and singer Marilia Monzón. Verse singer Yeray Rodríguez improvised words of support during the presentation, encouraging the public to "fill the hall."
Eight presenters with experience in media will host the event: Rosi Polín, Daniel Suárez, Javi López, Sonsoles Castillo, Wendy Fuentes, Paco Luis Quintana, Carlos Castilla, and Mercedes Ortega. The provincial president of Cruz Roja, Isaac Díaz Sosa, noted that the day will serve to showcase the entity's social projects, with resources deployed around the auditorium to display an ambulance, explain how support is allocated, and highlight volunteer opportunities.
The gala, co-organized with the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, will last approximately two hours and will include surprise appearances by personalities from the archipelago. Each attendee will receive three tickets for the "Sorteo de Oro" (Golden Draw), an initiative that distributes over 7 million euros in prizes and improves the lives of thousands of people.
