In terms of patient care, the hospital handled 556,645 consultations, comprising 455,201 follow-up visits and 101,444 new patient consultations. Hospital admissions totaled 19,625, with 7,688 scheduled and 11,937 urgent. The regional Heart Transplant and Lung Transplant programs maintained their activity with nineteen and twenty-eight transplants, respectively.
The center features several specialized Day Hospitals (Oncology, Hematology, Internal Medicine, Radiation Oncology, Psychiatry, Cardiology, and Polyclinic), where over 54,073 treatments were administered in 2025. Research and training activities, covering undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing education, are also highlighted in the report.
The Emergency Department served over 100,000 patients, a 4.24% increase from the previous year, with 87,620 not requiring admission. The Patient Classroom hosted 116 talks with 1,659 participants, and the ‘Know Your Hospital’ program welcomed over seven hundred schoolchildren.
