Los Llanos de Aridane is gearing up for the eleventh edition of the Neon Run Spain, transforming the municipality into a regional sports hub with a program of activities for all ages this Friday and Saturday.

The event, scheduled for April 17 and 18, is a qualifying race for the Canary Islands 10-kilometer Road Championship in master and absolute categories, and has already attracted over 1,500 registered participants. Interested individuals could register until April 15.

"Neon Run Spain is the combination of sport, music, and leisure in a format designed for the enjoyment of both participants and spectators, all in the heart of the municipality."

Víctor González · Sports Councilor
The event aims to go beyond the traditional concept of a race, integrating music, neon colors, and the classic running atmosphere to create a unique experience. The program includes various activities suitable for all ages.
The opening day, Friday, April 17, will begin with bib collection at noon in the Plaza de España. In the afternoon, DJs will set the mood with live music, culminating in the ‘Members™ by Podoactiva’ activity, focused on athlete health.
Saturday, April 18, will be the main day, with continued bib collection in the morning, also accompanied by music. In the afternoon, the Neon Paint Zone and children's races will take place. As night falls, the lights will dim and the neon will glow, signaling the start of the two adult races. The event will conclude with an awards ceremony and a Neon Party at local establishments.

"This event is an attraction for visitors from other municipalities and islands to come to Los Llanos de Aridane to enjoy and participate in an innovative event."

Yurguen Hernández · Sports Councilor of the Cabildo de La Palma
