The initiative, already operational, is presented as a digital reference point for Vocational Training on the islands, addressing a historical need to simplify access to information and improve interaction among students, the business sector, and teachers.
The Ministry of Education has highlighted that students are the priority focus of this tool, offering direct, simple, and intuitive access to all Vocational Training and special regime education offerings in the Canary Islands. Users can consult available courses, educational centers that teach them, available places, and even access the registration process.
“"One of the objectives of this platform is to become the digital reference point for FP in the archipelago."
The portal also includes a search system with intuitive filters that allows students to quickly find the training that best suits their interests, providing detailed information on training pathways and career opportunities. This reinforces the role of Vocational Training as a quality educational option, connected to the labor market.
Additionally, the platform features a section dedicated to the business sector, facilitating access to labor experience accreditation procedures and a search engine for educational centers to establish links with the productive system. A space has also been enabled for companies interested in actively participating in student training through Dual Vocational Training.
For teachers, the portal offers updated regulations, resources for Dual Vocational Training management, and access to key tools such as the GDCAN system and the intranet, aiming to facilitate teaching work and improve coordination among educational centers. The website also includes the calendar of calls and details on the Canary Islands Vocational Training Strategy.
