An unexpected visitor, a duck, caused a traffic disruption on Las Palmas de Gran Canaria's Avenida Marítima on Thursday morning, prompting Local Police to halt circulation.

The Avenida Marítima, known for its usual traffic jams, especially during summer, experienced an unusual situation when a duck appeared on the roadway. The incident required the Traffic Unit of the Local Police to stop traffic to prevent the animal from being run over.
Following the police intervention, the Seprona unit of the Guardia Civil took charge of the duck, ensuring its safety and relocating it to a secure place.
