All of the Canary Islands are under a yellow alert from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) this Monday due to strong winds and heavy swell, with warnings potentially extending until Tuesday afternoon in some areas.

Aemet has issued yellow alerts for the entire Canarian archipelago for this Monday, warning of adverse weather conditions. The main concerns are wind gusts that could reach 70 km/h and intense swell, with waves up to 5 meters in some areas. Although the initial warnings extend until Tuesday afternoon on certain islands, the agency does not rule out possible extensions.
In Tenerife, the wind warning affects the east, south, and west until 06:00 on Tuesday, with gusts up to 70 km/h, especially on the southeastern slope. The swell warning remains until 09:00 on Tuesday for the east, south, and west coasts, with northeast winds of force 7 south of the Anaga-Agaete channel.
For Gran Canaria, the warnings are similar: winds up to 70 km/h in the summits, east, south, and west until 06:00 on Tuesday, mainly affecting the southeastern and western slopes. The swell, with force 7 winds, is expected until 09:00 on Tuesday on the east, south, and west coasts, especially south of the Anaga-Agaete channel and the southeast of the island.
In La Palma, the wind warning, with gusts of 70 km/h, extends until 03:00 on Tuesday in the summits and the west, with a particular impact on El Paso. The swell warning on the west coast ends at 15:00 this Monday, with northeast winds of force 7. La Gomera and El Hierro are also under wind warnings of 70 km/h across the entire island until 06:00 and 03:00 on Tuesday, respectively, and for swell on their west coasts until 12:00 this Monday.
Finally, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura have wind and swell warnings. In Lanzarote, winds of 70 km/h affect the entire island until 03:00 on Tuesday, especially in inland areas. The swell warning, with combined sea from the north of 4 to 5 meters, ends at 09:00 this Monday. Fuerteventura maintains a swell warning with combined sea from the north of 4 to 5 meters until 20:00 this Monday.
