The 45th Villa de Teror Rally, to be held on September 25 and 26, has closed its registration period with a total of 130 participants. The provisional entry list will be published on Monday, September 21, and the official list on Tuesday, September 22.
Among the registered participants is Toñi Ponce, who, accompanied by Raúl Quesada and driving his Hyundai I20, will compete in the final rally of his sporting career. On September 22, the Lancia Ypsilon Rally4, which will serve as the zero car during the timed stages, will also be presented.
The event will feature 8 special stages, totaling approximately 88 timed kilometers. The special stages on Saturday, September 26, will be: Teror-Utiaca (10.34 kms, three runs), Artenara-Cruz de Tejeda (13.95 kms, three runs), and Zumacal-Los Castillos (7.52 kms, two runs).
Escudería Aterura has requested that registered teams communicate any withdrawals as soon as possible to manage the inclusion of other teams, given the high participation that has exceeded the regulated quota.
The organization is asking for solidarity among teams regarding the placement of assistance zones, located in various areas of Teror town center, with the significant effort of the Organizing Committee and the Teror City Council.
The event is supported by the Teror City Council, through its Sports departments, and the local company Aguas de Teror. Private backing comes from Emicela and Orvecame (Lancia brand), along with support from the Federación de Automovilismo de Las Palmas and the Instituto Insular de Deportes of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria.
