Teror is concluding its Fiestas del Pino 2026 this weekend, which have brought together thousands of people since August 23rd, with two traditional events: the Verbena Canaria and the Ascent of the image of the Virgen del Pino to her shrine.

The festive program will end on Saturday, September 19th, with the highly anticipated Verbena Canaria, starting at 8:00 PM with a parade accompanied by the Banda Guayedra and papagüevos. The route will go from the Puente del Pino to the Plaza de Sintes.
From 8:30 PM onwards, the verbena will take place in the enclosed area of the Plaza de Sintes, featuring Canarian ambiance and performances by the parrandas El Pajullo, Furia Joven, Wamampy, and Armonia Show.
On Sunday, September 20th, the religious ceremony of the Ascent of the image of the Virgen del Pino to her shrine will be held. After remaining in the side nave of the Basilica, where it has been visited by thousands of pilgrims, the image will ascend again to the main altar around 8:00 PM, following the 7:00 PM mass.
This moving ceremony, performed via a decorated rail system, symbolizes the Virgin's farewell until next year, marking the end of the annual September festival.
