A car caught fire early on Thursday morning, May 21st, on the GC-42 road, heading towards San Mateo. The Emergency Coordination Center received the alert at 5:51 AM.
Following the alert, personnel from the Local Police, the Consortium of Firefighters of Gran Canaria, the Civil Guard, and Civil Protection were dispatched to the scene.
The fire has now been controlled, and fortunately, no personal injuries were reported.
