An 82-year-old man was injured this Sunday after suffering a fall on the Erjos pools trail in the municipality of Los Silos (Tenerife).

The incident occurred around 10:26 AM when the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) received the alert. Following the notification, the necessary emergency resources were deployed to the area.
Healthcare personnel from the Canary Emergency Services (SUC) assessed the affected individual at the scene, who presented with moderate injuries. He was subsequently transported by a basic life support ambulance to the Hospital del Norte.
With the assistance of firefighters from the Consortium of Tenerife, rescue teams reached the hiker to provide aid and facilitate his transfer to the hospital.
