The Association of Oncohematological Families of Lanzarote (AFOL) has moved its headquarters to a more spacious and accessible location on Tenerife Street in Arrecife, with normal activity expected to resume between late April and early May.

The new premises, situated in unit 2 of the Mega 5 building at street level, offer easier access for users. This move marks a significant step for the entity, which is leaving behind the interior building on Manolo Millares Street that served as its physical base for over two decades. A substantial part of the relocation has already been completed, and an official presentation of the new space is anticipated.
Located just a few hundred meters from its previous site, the new headquarters already features informational signs to guide visitors. From this new base, the association will continue its fundraising initiatives, such as the upcoming charity rock concert.

The rock concert will be held on May 16th at Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente Park in San Bartolomé, with tickets priced at 10 euros.

This event will see collaboration from various entities including Musical Panchito, Festival Lava Live, Plus Fariones Suite Hotel Lanzarote PDC, Cristina Cabrera, Tripasion Eventos, the Teguise City Council, and the San Bartolomé City Council, among others, to support aid functions for patients and their families.
AFOL, founded in 2001 by a group of parents of children with cancer, is a non-profit association that has expanded its scope to include adults, who now form a significant part of its community. The organization has been instrumental in the implementation of the radiotherapy bunker at Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
