The exhibition, which explores Spain's ethnographic and cultural richness, is displayed in the ground floor rooms of the cultural center. The initiative was organized by the Spanish Federation of Folklore Groups and the Folklore Group Coros y Danzas de Arrecife, with the support of the Arrecife City Council's Department of Culture.
During the presentation, held last Wednesday evening, the exhibition's value in appreciating the unique characteristics of each garment was highlighted. The arrangement of the pieces in a single space allows visitors to understand the evolution and differences among various popular traditions, offering a perspective on the artistic and historical worth of each ensemble.
The traditional garments are presented on medium-sized mannequins. Each costume is accompanied by informative signs detailing the autonomous community and the specific region of origin for each represented territory.
The exhibition is open to the public on weekdays, with a preference for morning visits.
