The capital of Lanzarote, Arrecife, has recently introduced new interactive tourist information panels designed to provide visitors with city details in multiple languages.

These panels, strategically placed in various central areas of Arrecife, feature a QR code that links to the arrecifeontour.com web platform. This free digital guide offers tourists routes, commercial proposals, cultural activities, and leisure options in Spanish, English, and German.
Mayor Yonathan de León highlighted that the platform includes a specific section dedicated to César Manrique's presence in the capital. The guide provides detailed information complemented by videos, with plans to expand the language offerings in the medium term.

"The guide, the first online format launched during this term, aims to position the capital as a place to visit and stay, and to increase the competitiveness of capital tourism, where hotel renovations have been announced to continue offering quality, in addition to the renovated accommodation complexes that have been executed in recent times."

Arrecife City Council · Official statement
The head of Tourism, Eli Merino, noted that Arrecife welcomed over 640,000 cruise tourists last year, with projections for this year exceeding 700,000 people, underscoring the importance of these initiatives in enhancing the visitor experience.
