The new Los Lirios park, located next to the institute in Tías, is completed and its imminent opening is expected, pending water and electricity connections.

The infrastructure, which represents an investment of nearly 2.7 million euros, covers an area of 10,800 square meters. Construction, which began in mid-last year after Hormiconsa Canarias was awarded the contract in late 2024, has recently concluded.
The Los Lirios park offers various areas, including a landscaped zone with endemic and introduced flora, a children's playground, shaded areas with pergolas, a calisthenics space, a skate park, sports courts, bleachers, changing rooms, a dog park, and a bar-cafeteria whose opening will depend on the bidding process.
The facilities have been designed with paths connecting alternative uses, both for sports and leisure, incorporating accessibility measures for people with reduced mobility. Restrooms are also part of the amenities.

"These large-scale infrastructures encourage outdoor exercise, such as walking or playing basketball, and promote direct contact with natural environments, improving general mood."
