The Fuerteventura en Música festival has kicked off its twentieth edition at La Concha Beach, in El Cotillo, gathering nearly 7,000 people during its first day of performances.

The musical event, organized by the Cabildo de Fuerteventura, maintains its essence as a cultural meeting point. The program began in the afternoon with a parade by the Corumba batucada, which led attendees from the Muellito de El Cotillo to the main stage on the sand.
The performances began with local and national acts, highlighting a fusion of urban rhythms and pop. The night's lineup included various fusion bands and a featured performance by Nigerian musician Femi Kuti, an international reference in afrobeat.
The evening concluded with a performance by the band Eskorzo, celebrating three decades of their career with a show that integrated various musical genres. The day also featured musical accompaniment by DJ Woodhands to close the night.
The event, which continues this weekend, maintains its commitment to cultural diversity and local talent, with activities scheduled during both day and night across various locations in the town.
