The Fuerteventura Council has opened registration for the second phase of the «Actívate» program, which will offer free leisure and sports activities for young people aged 12 to 30 during August.

The initiative, promoted by the Youth Department, aims to provide attractive and healthy options for young people's free time in municipalities such as Puerto del Rosario, Gran Tarajal, and Corralejo. Activities include go-karting, a day at a water park, and giant inflatable foosball and bumper ball competitions.
The program kicks off on August 8th in Puerto del Rosario with a go-karting event that will include a talk on safe driving. Subsequently, on August 21st, Gran Tarajal will host a session of giant inflatable foosball and bumper ball. The activities will conclude on August 29th in Corralejo with a visit to a water park.
The Minister of Water, Education, and Youth, Adargoma Hernández, has encouraged the island's youth to participate in these experiences, emphasizing the goal of offering activities that align with their interests, foster community, and promote healthy leisure.
For her part, the president of the Fuerteventura Council, Lola García, highlighted the importance of providing a quality, accessible leisure offer distributed throughout the island, promoting initiatives that encourage youth participation in a safe environment.
All activities are free and have limited spaces. Interested young people can register through the program's official website: www.fuerteventurajovenyeduca.es.
With this second round of activities, the Fuerteventura Council continues the «Actívate» program, a well-established initiative that promotes healthy lifestyles and active youth participation during the summer months.
