The Fuerteventura Island Council has opened the application process for the aptitude tests required to obtain a hunting license, aimed at individuals over 14 years of age.

The call is intended for those who wish to begin hunting activities and do not yet have the required accreditation of knowledge. Interested parties must submit their application through the general registry of the Island Corporation, at citizen service offices, or via the electronic administration platform.
To complete the process, it is necessary to submit the official application form along with a copy of the DNI or passport. The official syllabus, known as the Hunter's Manual, is available for public consultation on the Government of the Canary Islands website.
The aptitude test will take place on July 29, 2026, at 6:00 PM. The exam will be held at the Island Youth Center, located in Puerto del Rosario. Candidates must attend the designated location with their original identity document.
