This event, now a consolidated part of Fuerteventura's cultural calendar, is open to young residents aged between 12 and 35 years. Participants can register individually or in groups of up to six people, presenting creative proposals ranging from music and dance to theater and magic, provided they do not pose risks.
The competition is structured in two phases. The first is an online preliminary stage, where interested individuals must register and submit a video or audio of their performance, lasting between one and five minutes. From all applications received, eight finalists will be selected to advance to the next round.
The grand final will take place on Friday, June 5, at the facilities of the Youth Island Center. This event will be open to the public and will feature a stage equipped with professional lighting and sound, creating a space for cultural exchange. During the gala, finalists will perform live and be evaluated by an expert jury, as well as by the attending and online audience via live stream, whose votes will influence the final result.
“"Initiatives like GOAT Talent are fundamental for continuing to create opportunities among the youth of Fuerteventura, fostering their creativity and providing them with real spaces to express themselves and grow both personally and professionally."
The competition winners will receive 200 euros in cash and the opportunity to lead a workshop or perform a paid act within the Youth Island Center's cultural program, representing a significant boost to their artistic careers. Additionally, the jury may award special mentions to other outstanding proposals, thereby expanding participation opportunities in the island's cultural life.
Registrations for GOAT Talent 2026 are now open and can be completed until May 25 through the official website of the Fuerteventura Youth Island Center. With this competition, the Cabildo de Fuerteventura reaffirms its commitment to youth, offering platforms for expression, participation, and cultural development.
