Fuerteventura Airport has broken records in its 27th edition of the School Activities Program, attracting nearly 1,000 students from ten educational centers on the island.

The initiative, held since 1997, has allowed almost a thousand students to gain firsthand knowledge of the operations of a key infrastructure for the Canary Islands. The award ceremony recognized 28 students for their painting and writing contributions, selected from the proposals submitted.
The program aims to spark young people's interest in the airport world, showcasing the complexity of daily operations, from passenger management to flight coordination. This year, 555 students participated in guided tours and 399 in the drawing and writing contest.
With over two decades of history, the educational program has enabled thousands of young people to understand the airport's essential role in Fuerteventura's connectivity and economy, revealing aspects normally hidden from travelers.
