The fashion creator, honored with the Emerging Talent Award of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, has expressed her pride in this recognition. This award highlights her innovative work in textile design, where she has successfully integrated traditional craftsmanship with modern and original proposals.
Her journey into fashion began three years ago when the designer decided to create a unique outfit for an event. Although she already possessed weaving skills, macramé was a technique she had never explored. After learning it, her creations caused a sensation among her acquaintances, transforming a hobby into a full-time profession. The demand for her designs prompted her to establish her personal brand and professionalize her work.
“"Canarian nature is one of my sources of inspiration."
Her proposals have caught the attention of the industry, leading her to participate in Gran Canaria Moda Cálida. Following a successful first appearance last October, the designer is preparing for her second participation in June, solidifying her presence at this important fashion show, recognized as the only swimwear fashion show in Europe and a key platform for the international visibility of the Canary Islands.
The inspiration for her collections comes directly from the island environment. She has created designs based on the Dunes of Maspalomas and Canarian sunsets, and her next collection will also pay homage to a specific area of Gran Canaria. This connection with the landscape, history, and culture of the islands is a fundamental pillar of her identity as a designer.
Her future goals include perfecting her techniques, expanding her brand internationally, and presenting a collection at the Bridal runway of Gran Canaria Moda Cálida. Her creations are primarily aimed at women with maturity and personality, although she has also had male clients, seeking to enhance the individual beauty of each person.
