Stumbris is well-acquainted with Spanish basketball, having competed in the second division over recent seasons. During the 2024-25 campaign, he played for San Pablo Burgos under coach Bruno Savignani, a team that secured promotion to the ACB. During that time, he played alongside current yellow teammates such as Luke Fischer.
The power forward is known for his ability to stretch the floor with his outside shooting and his defensive reliability. After starting last season with Melilla, he moved to Movistar Estudiantes, where he averaged 6.9 points and 2.9 rebounds, helping the Madrid side reach the promotion playoffs.
