Gran Canaria is preparing for its eleventh participation in the Canary Islands Gastronomic Fair, GastroCanarias 2026, to be held from May 19 to 21 at the Tenerife Fairgrounds.

The island will present its offering under the slogan 'From Product to Experience', featuring an institutional stand for the Gran Canaria Me Gusta program, promoted by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce. This space will host 19 talks exploring the link between local produce and chefs, also incorporating the sommelier's perspective.
The Minister of Economic Development of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria will attend the inauguration. Throughout the three days, the Gran Canarian space will gather a broad representation of the island's gastronomic ecosystem. Restaurants such as La Bodega de la Avenida, Verode, Berro Bistró, Qué Leche, El Bejeque, Los Guayres, La Pasadilla, and Casa Romántica will participate, alongside specialized proposals from Pastelería Neketán, Coffee Funggi, and bakeries like Panadería Mis Hijos.
Producers and primary sector companies such as Finca El Cordel, Finca La Palma, Molinería Pérez Gil, Frimancha, Matadero Insular, and Berrera La Solana will also be featured. The talks will showcase the value of emblematic products like potatoes and corn from Valsequillo, watercress from Telde, local meats, fish, cheeses, gofio, and coffee.
