Dreamland Gran Canaria is in a precarious position in the Liga Endesa, tied with MoraBanc Andorra at the bottom of the standings with only eight games remaining to secure their permanence.

The Club Baloncesto Gran Canaria is experiencing its worst period in the last 31 consecutive seasons in Spain's top basketball league. Despite an improved team image since Néstor Che García took over as coach, victories remain elusive, and relegation concerns are mounting.
With 12 losses in their last 13 games, the 'claretian' team has matched the numbers of second-to-last placed MoraBanc Andorra, holding seven wins and 19 defeats. This negative streak has triggered alarms within the club, which now approaches every match as a decisive final.
Following a narrow defeat against Kosner Baskonia at the Fernando Buesa Arena in Vitoria, Granca is preparing for a demanding schedule. The first of these "finals" will be this Saturday at 7:00 PM against Casademont Zaragoza at the Gran Canaria Arena, a direct rival in the fight for survival.

"There are eight games left, which is almost 25% of the championship, and that is a lot."

Additionally, the team will travel to face Unicaja (April 29, 5:00 PM), Barcelona (May 3, 6:00 PM), Hiopos Lleida (May 17, 11:00 AM), and Valencia Basket (May 29, time to be determined).
