The investment will focus on repairing the facades and waterproofing the roofs of the educational facilities. The project, awarded to the company Oppida I&a Obras S.L., aims primarily to ensure the safety and proper condition of the upper-floor classrooms, as well as to prevent water leaks.
The works, which include the repair of concrete elements, cornices, and projections, have an execution period of three months from their commencement. As an additional improvement, the contracting company has agreed to a two-year extension of the warranty period.
According to the Director General of Educational Infrastructure and Equipment, Iván G. Carro, these actions are part of a broader program of improvements in educational centers throughout the archipelago. The goal is to update the facilities to ensure the proper development of educational activities, considering the passage of time and weather conditions.
