The northern region of Gran Canaria is preparing to host the Vuelta Ciclista al Norte, a historic road cycling race scheduled for July 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.

The event, returning to the sports calendar after several years, has established itself as a key showcase for elite and U23 riders. The official presentation is set for June 25th at 12:30 PM in the Plaza de la Constitución in Arucas.
The starting list features highly competitive teams. Confirmed participants include the Orihuela Cycling Team, the Basque team Aranako, and the Madrid-based El Anciano Rey de Los Vinos. Organizers are also working to confirm international squads such as Vigo Rías Baixas, the Andorran National Team, and Portuguese teams Blackjack, Bairrada, and Team Oiense-Escuela Estevez.
Local cycling will also be well-represented by the island's top teams, including the Gran Canaria Bike Team, which aims to compete against the high-level field across the challenging routes of northern Gran Canaria.
