The celebration of the Pope's mass at the Estadio de Gran Canaria on June 11 is contingent on the results of UD Las Palmas, as organizers are considering two options for the event's capacity.

Currently, the event organizers are considering not using the pitch at the Siete Palmas venue. This decision is based on the expectation that UD Las Palmas might be playing in the promotion play-offs to First Division during those dates. Under this scenario, the capacity for the mass would be approximately 30,000 spectators inside the stadium.
Additionally, around 20,000 people are expected in the parking lot adjacent to the stadium and over 10,000 in the Gran Canaria Arena. However, if the yellow team does not play in the promotion play-offs, the capacity for the mass would be significantly expanded by utilizing the pitch area.
What is clear for the organizers is that the main stage for the Pope's mass will be set up in front of the Naciente stand of the stadium.
