The four workers, hired for a three-month period with a 30-hour weekly schedule, will carry out cleaning, conditioning, and maintenance tasks on rural roads and trails. These tasks include cutting and removing vegetation, eliminating weeds, and preparing the routes to facilitate both pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
This initiative is part of the Rural Employment Promotion Program – Depressed Rural Areas 2026, funded by the State Public Employment Service (SEPE). The project combines the creation of job opportunities with public utility work aimed at improving and conserving the rural areas of the town.
The project has a total budget of 23,679 euros, of which 17,115.30 euros come from a granted subsidy, with the remaining amount being a municipal contribution.
