In a competition featuring prominent rivals, González showcased his driving prowess in his 2015 Porsche 911 GT3, a vehicle that underwent a thorough overhaul before the event. His performance secured him a podium spot in the highly competitive Category 1.
The reigning champion of the Spanish Hill Climb Cup (CopaEM) returned to this iconic Andalusian ramp, where he had not competed since 2022, facing numerous challenges. Changing weather conditions, including intermittent rain, complicated the 7.70-kilometer course, leading the Race Direction to declare races 3 and 4 as wet.

Despite the difficulties, José Manuel used the practice session to familiarize himself with the circuit and prepare his strategies. His consistency and skill allowed him to consolidate his position in the top three, earning a place on the event's honor roll.
