The island of La Gomera is wrapping up its special program for Canary Islands Day this week with two cultural events at the Insular Auditorium in San Sebastián.

The island's program for Canary Islands Day, promoted by the Cabildo de La Gomera in collaboration with the island's town councils, is reaching its final stage this week with two cultural offerings. Both will take place at the Auditorio Insular de La Gomera, located in San Sebastián.
On Friday, June 5, starting at 8:00 PM, the musical performance ‘La línea del horizonte, palabras coloreadas’ (The Horizon Line, Colored Words) will be presented. This show will feature the participation of Domingo El Colorado, Julia Rodríguez, and Ayla Rodríguez, offering the audience an evening where word, music, and artistic expression unite around Canarian cultural identity.
The commemorative program will conclude on Saturday, June 6, also at 8:00 PM, with the ‘Gala de Estrellas de la Danza Clásica’ (Classical Dance Stars Gala). This classical dance performance, by Ballet Internacional, is aimed at all audiences and will serve as the grand finale to the island's programming.
Through these activities, La Gomera culminates its Canary Islands Day commemorative programming, consolidating a diverse cultural offering that values artistic creation, citizen participation, and the celebration of the Archipelago's identity.
