The ceremony will take place at the Island Auditorium starting at 7:00 PM. The event aims to highlight the achievements, dedication, and results of athletes, clubs, and associations during the period between January 2025 and June 2026.
The awards include four main categories—best male athlete, best female athlete, best collective, and sports reference—along with six honorary mentions, one for each municipality on the island. The selection process was based on criteria of transparency, equality, and sporting merit.

The gala will feature sports journalists and television presenters, as well as musical and theatrical performances. The island institution emphasized the high level of participation from clubs and entities in submitting nominations, highlighting the vitality of sports on the island.
