The Cabildo of La Gomera has opened the payment period for beneficiaries of the 2026 Sociocultural Tourism Program for Seniors and People with Disabilities to pay for their flight tickets for upcoming departures.
Selected individuals for the pending trips of the program, which includes modality A for those over 60 and modality B for people with reduced mobility or disabilities, can now make the corresponding payment. This measure is implemented after the publication of the definitive resolution of modifications and updated lists.
The president of the Cabildo, Casimiro Curbelo, highlighted the social utility and positive reception of the program, which already involved over 330 participants in its first phase. Activity is set to resume with six new groups before the end of November.
The first round of trips, held before the summer break, took over 330 participants to destinations such as Pamplona, Valencia, and Seville. The schedule will resume in the last week of September and continue until November 27th.
The payment of 130 euros per person for the flight ticket must be made by bank transfer to the account BBVA ES37 0182 4581 7202 0151 0449. It is essential that the payment includes the participant's name, surnames, and DNI. The transfer receipt, along with a copy of the DNI, must be sent to Halcón Viajes ([grupos012@halconviajes.com](mailto:grupos012@halconviajes.com)) and registered with the Insular Council of La Gomera.
The Cabildo reminds that failure to pay within the established periods, without prior justification, will be considered a waiver of the trip and result in the loss of the assigned place. The resolution and updated lists of beneficiaries and reserves can be consulted on the Electronic Office's Announcement Board of the Insular Council of La Gomera.
