A 50-year-old man has sustained moderate injuries after falling from scaffolding in Plaza Las Rosas in the municipality of Agulo, on the island of La Gomera.

The incident occurred on July 20, 2026, at 2:58 PM. The Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1 1 2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert about a man falling from scaffolding at the aforementioned address.
The emergency services activated by 1 1 2 included a medicalized ambulance and a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), medical and nursing professionals from the Hermigua health center, and officers from the Guardia Civil.
SUC and Primary Care personnel assessed and treated the victim at the scene before transferring him to Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Hospital. The Guardia Civil collaborated with the other resources and initiated the appropriate proceedings.
