The objective of these meetings is to gather the needs and proposals of the population and entities working in areas related to equality. These sessions are part of the consultation process planned for the document's development, which includes the participation of associations, social groups, professionals, and the general public.
The contributions collected will help identify specific needs and define possible measures in areas such as care, co-responsibility, political participation, education, and youth.

The schedule for the participation tables includes the Care and Co-responsibility session on Monday, October 19, at 7:00 PM, in the Vallehermoso Town Hall. On Tuesday, October 20, at 10:00 AM, the Political Participation, Education, and Youth Table will be held in the Boardroom of the La Gomera Council, in San Sebastián de La Gomera. That same day, at 6:00 PM, the Association of Seniors of Valle Gran Rey will host a second session on political participation, education, and youth. The program will conclude on Wednesday, October 21, at 6:00 PM, with the Care and Co-responsibility Table at the Hermigua Multi-purpose Buildings.
These thematic tables are part of the participatory process for the development of the Strategic Plan for Equality and Gender Policies of La Gomera 2027-2030, which also includes an anonymous and voluntary questionnaire for citizens and interviews with associations and entities on the island. The information obtained will serve as a basis for the diagnosis and definition of the Plan's objectives and lines of action.
