The Cabildo de La Palma, in collaboration with Sinergias In & Out, is organizing the Abrigadas Emocreativas, Islas de Emocuidados, and Creálogos Educativos events, focusing on emotional management within the island's educational community.

These activities, part of the second edition of the Emotional Care Days on the island, will take place next Wednesday, April 15, in various locations across La Palma. Their main objective is to deepen the understanding and management of students' emotions, as well as to strengthen bonds within the educational environment.

"It is essential to continue supporting programs that bring families, teachers, and students closer, promoting better coexistence and understanding among all members."

The morning session will feature Abrigadas Emocreativas, held in 12 educational centers. It will involve 70 Education students from the University of La Laguna and the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, working with nearly one thousand 5th and 6th-grade primary school students. The aim is to create spaces where students can recognize and appreciate their teachers.
In the afternoon, at 4:00 PM, the Islas de Emocuidados will offer affective tutorials for families under the title How to Face Your Children's Emotions. These sessions seek to encourage active listening, support, and the strengthening of the bond between family and school.
The event will conclude with Creálogos Educativos at 7:00 PM at the Teatro Circo de Marte in Santa Cruz de La Palma. This activity will feature César Bona, who will deliver the lecture The Art of Being Human in Today's Society. Admission is free, and interested individuals can register via an online form.
Additionally, on April 25, the Museo Benahoarita will host the Emotional Care in Education day, a continuation of the program specifically aimed at teachers. The project is supported by the Government of the Canary Islands, Youth of the Canary Islands, and the municipalities of Los Llanos de Aridane, Breña Alta, El Paso, and Santa Cruz de La Palma.
