The Cabildo de La Palma is supporting, for the second consecutive year, the caravan and motorhome gathering in La Laguna de Barlovento, an event scheduled from May 29th to 31st, aimed at boosting this tourism segment on the island.

The initiative, coinciding with Canary Islands Day and the Las Cruces festivities, will bring together dozens of participants and underscores the island's strategy to attract the growing itinerant tourism segment. The island's council president, Sergio Rodríguez, highlighted the exceptional conditions La Palma offers for this type of traveler.
The gathering is organized by Caravaning Club La Palma - Isla Bonita, Amigos AC y Campers, and ESAD La Palma, with the collaboration of the Barlovento City Council and the Amigos de la Fiesta de La Laguna Association. Throughout the three days, attendees will enjoy a program of activities including gastronomy, music, folklore, and events from the local festivities.
This event is part of the Cabildo's ongoing efforts to promote caravaning on the island, supported by funding from the Canary Islands Development Fund (FDCAN). Notably, the Barlovento caravaning project, an infrastructure linked to the La Laguna area, aims to further consolidate this type of tourism in the northwestern region and enhance services for motorhomes and caravans.
